What is BBCmicro?

BBCmicro is the name of my Acorn BBC Microcomputer emulator.

Initially, only the BBC Model B computer will be emulated, but the aim of this project is to provide emulation of the following platforms:

... and possibly others.

The emulator is written in strict ANSI C, and is being developed on Linux using an X Window/Motif graphical user interface. Once the emulator has reached a significant stage I intend to release a version for Microsoft Windows.

Current Status

Version 0.0.1

As this is a spare-time project (which I don't have a lot of), development is likely to be quite slow - but please do check back here now and then.

The files below contain the BBC Debugger application compiled on Linux-Mandrake 7.0, and dynamically linked with Motif 2.1.30.
You will need to have the Motif run-time libraries installed to run this application. I recommend the Metro Link distribution of OpenMotif which is available free (please read the license file).
